The Michener Art Museum in Doylestown

Home to a world-class collection of Pennsylvania Impressionism, the Michener in Doylestown also hosts nationally touring special exhibitions and showcases important regional artists. Additional highlights include the Nakashima Reading Room, the Daniel Garber mural, and art outdoors. Face masks are welcome but not required.

Tickets can be purchased online or in-person at the Museum.

Audio tours are available, but headphones are not provided.

Members-only hours from 10 am-12 pm on Sundays.

Public Transportation

Ride SEPTA’s Regional Rail Train to Doylestown Station, a short walk from the Museum.

Go to the front of the train. Walk to the corner (West Ashland Street and Clinton Street) turn right and continue on Ashland. Cross over Main Street then Green Street to Pine Street, turn right and you’ll see the flags on the stone building on the left. That is the main entrance to the museum.

The museum is accessible to visitors with disabilities. Touch tours, sign language interpreted tours, and interpreted materials, such as listening enhancement equipment, are all available with advance notice.

Personal Care Attendants (PCA) assisting a visitor or member, may join them at no additional cost. This applies to general admission, ticketed programs, and other events the visitor or member is attending.  If you would like to request admission for a PCA, please inform Visitor Services upon arrival.

Visitors with an Art-Reach Access card receive admission for $2 per person, up to four people.
