Join us twice monthly for a leisurely afternoon of hand stitching. You may choose to enhance your English Paper Piecing (EPP) quilt-making skills in the company of other EPP fanciers, or to work on a hand stitching project of your own.
Your guide is Bobbi Penniman, an experienced EPP stitcher, instructor, and quilt maker who can help you refine your EPP skills. Please note this is not a formal instructional class, although coaching and encouragement will be freely provided.
EPP is a highly addictive (in a good way!) hand sewn quilt-making technique. Our focus will be on the Glorious Hexagon quilts made by Liza Prior Lucy and Kim McLean. Relax in our comfortable, light-filled room and enjoy the company of other hand stitching enthusiasts for a pleasant afternoon.
Thank you for your interest in Michener Art Museum programs, events, music, art classes, and summer camps for all ages!
