Design and create original stained glass works of art in this dynamic Michener program. Learn to create patterns for stained glass projects. Work with colored and textured glass to complete your design. Use glasscutters and grinders to shape and smooth individual glass pieces. Solder colored glass pieces together to create unique window and wall hangings. Students who have taken stained glass classes with us in previous seasons will be inspired by new challenges in this class. Please note: the stained glass artworks students create in this program are not suitable for architectural installation. Students are required to wear long pants, close toed shoes, and tied back long hair to this class (when applicable); participants may want to bring a snack and a bottle of water. Michener stained glass workshops are sponsored by the Leff Family Foundation.
