Students in this afternoon art camp will create works of art inspired by Pop artists like Andy Warhol, Idelle Weber, Roy Lichtenstein, Keith Haring, and more! Students will learn techniques and create works of art using paint, markers, printmaking, paper collage and more in their own finished works of art.
Students provide their own peanut free lunch for full day and snacks for half-day programs. Families and friends are welcome to come 15 minutes before the end of camp on Friday to enjoy an exhibition of student work in the Education Gallery and classrooms.
Need a full day program? Students may combine the afternoon Pop Art with the morning Drawing and Painting Fun! camp or, for six-year-olds, the morning Sensational Sixes camp, and Lunch Option 1.
Individualized attention, inspired and supportive instruction, small classes, meaningful gallery tours, and award-winning teachers are hallmarks of our exceptional arts programs. Through exposure to a variety of art forms and materials, all courses encourage the development of new skills and build confidence in creative expression. In addition, our summer camps provide opportunities for lively social interaction and outdoor activities. Student work is exhibited in the Education Gallery throughout the summer.
