Instructor: Jody Holbert
This three-hour class, now being offered in the morning, provides the perfect opportunity for adult artists with a basic understanding of drawing and color mixing to work in a supportive and creative atmosphere on works of their choosing. Individualized, informative instruction will help students develop new skills, gain insights into their creative accomplishments, receive meaningful guidance and feedback, become comfortable with the creative process, and grow at every level. Students also work closely alongside fellow artists to further their inspiration and excitement about the creative process. Students may work in watercolor, oil and chalk pastel, pencil, ink, charcoal, and acrylics; due to inadequate ventilation, we cannot invite students who work in oil. Students in this class will have access to all Museum exhibitions to glean inspiration and further their understanding of various arts forms and processes.
