Complete individual projects in this class with a focus on building skills in anime drawing techniques and personal growth. Develop an understanding of the action, emotion, and movement of Japanese manga and anime characters. Build skills in character development, expression, lettering, and background design. All levels of anime artists will expand upon and develop new abilities in this class.

The Michener Art Museum offers the only art classes in Bucks County where learners of all ages experience Museum exhibitions as an ongoing part of their arts education. Discussions and experiences in the galleries and sculpture garden inspire students to create original works of art in response to what they see. Individualized attention, small classes, and master teachers are hallmarks of exceptional programs that combine learning new skills with opportunities for creative expression and the development of a personal style. Students work in an environment rooted in inspired and supportive instruction, meaningful gallery experiences, personal observation, and imagination. Student work is exhibited in the Education Gallery throughout the year. All art classes at the Michener keep art at the heart of education.
