Trinidelphia has been pleasing audiences with their distinct combination of American and Caribbean styles since 2005, fusing Trinidadian soca and calypso with Latin jazz, reggae, salsa, ska, and American Top 40. Their unique and rhythmic arrangements of jazz and popular songs cast the steelpan in fresh light, pushing the stylistic and artistic boundaries of an often type-cast instrument. The group is excited to release a new full-length CD, Color Wheel, later this year.
Summer Concert Series is generously supported by Nelson and Bette Pfundt and the Pfundt Foundation.
