Founded in 2002, the Hot Club of Philadelphia is an acoustic ensemble inspired by “gypsy jazz,” a style of music pioneered by the legendary Hot Club of France quintet, the iconic band led by guitarist Django Reinhardt and violinist Stephane Grappelli. Featuring the lead guitar and vocals of Barry Wahrhaftig, the vocals of Meg Elizabeth, Dave Hartl on accordion, and rhythm guitar and acoustic bass, Hot Club of Philadelphia presents an eclectic mix of songs, including originals
