Another example of Flora Baum posing for Trego, in this case wearing her own street clothes. For several years Flora was Trego's favorite model. The artist seems to have taken delight in the company of Walter Baum and his wife, Flora.

Provenance

The sketch is one of several rescued by Walter E. Baum from Trego’s studio after his death. It passed to Baum’s son, Robert “Bert” Baum, and from him to the current owner.

The paper is discolored and brittle. There are smudges, creases, water stains, and losses along the margins.
