Vital Statistics
Oil on canvas, Dimensions unknownCommentary
This painting was exhibited in the United States while Trego was in Paris in 1889 and the exhibit catalogue gives the artist’s address as Paris. It was one of two paintings he showed in this exhibit, the other being A Pell Mell Charge. It is unknown whether the artist made the exhibit arrangements himself or used an agent or family member in the United States. Nothing further is known about this painting, though the title suggests it was military in nature. It is presumed lost.Exhibitions
