DOYLESTOWN, PA – The Michener Art Museum continues its three-part summer concert series A Little Night Music with a performance by the Brian Pastor Octet on Wednesday, July 26 at 7 pm. The museum will present one more performance as part of its summer series: Trinidelphia, on Wednesday, August 9 at 7pm. The Brian Pastor Octet is known for its musicianship and improvisation. The group is also celebrated for its interpretation of jazz standards, pop standards, and tunes from the Great American Songbook. A fixture of the Philadelphia music world for many years, Pastor has worked as a music educator as well as the musical director and principal trombonist for The Brian Pastor Big Band and the principal trombonist for The Philly Pops.
The Little Night Music summer series at the Michener is made possible by the support of the Pfundt Family Foundation.
In addition to the summer concert series, the Michener Art Museum will continue its dynamic array of year-round programs that include lectures, talks, tours, films, family events, art classes, and more throughout the year. Music programs will continue in the fall, with Jazz Nights, Friday Night Band Jams, and Sunday Afternoon Music at the Michener programs scheduled in October, November, and December. The James A.
