DOYLESTOWN, PA (January 28, 2019) – The James A. Michener Art Museum announced today it has appointed Amy Ferracci as its new Associate Director of Marketing and Public Relations effective immediately.  The Michener welcomes her as it comes off the heels of celebrating 30 Years: Art at the Michener for its thirty year anniversary and prepares to forge forward with many exciting developments in the works. Amy joins the museum with over twenty years of experience in various marketing and public relations capacities.

“I am honored to become part of the Michener team which exudes tremendous talent and is committed to consistently making this institution a local leader in culture, education, and fun,” states Amy Ferracci. “I look forward to collaborating with the community and helping raise awareness of all the wonderful experiences and programs this museum and Bucks County has to offer.”

Jumpstarting her career in New York City, Amy worked for the boutique agency Lippe Taylor, publicizing a variety of fashion and beauty accounts, including Maybelline and Erno Laszlo. Upon her return to Philadelphia, she worked in-house for QVC’s Public Relations Department, spearheading publicity efforts for the “QVC Museum Tour.” Later, while managing national marketing campaigns for the luxury motorcycle brand MV Agusta, Amy began volunteering her time by putting her public relations and event planning skills to use for numerous local and national charities.

Amy’s passion for working with non-profit organizations was the basis for establishing the consulting partnership Ferracci & Hannum Public Relations & Special Events, with a former QVC colleague. Additionally, Amy has served on the Board of Trustees for HepTREC and Community Partnership School and chaired and led many fundraising committees for organizations like Jazz Foundation of America, American Liver Foundation, the Pennsylvania Ballet, HelpUsAdopt.org and Boys Latin of Philadelphia.

In a recent endeavor, Amy was a principle owner in Benelli Bikes USA, importing electric bicycles from Italy where she was involved in all facets of the business. Amy graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.
