Performance is the second of three in the Broadway Cabaret series presented through PNC Arts Alive
DOYLESTOWN, PA – On Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 8 pm, Shoshana Bean from the hit Broadway musical Wicked will perform at the Michener Art Museum as part of the Broadway Cabaret series presented through PNC Arts Alive. Bean’s performance is the second of three in the series, following a sold-out performance in June by Norm Lewis. Limited tickets are available for purchase at MichenerArtMuseum.org.
Shoshana Bean’s four independent solo releases have all topped the iTunes charts in the U.S. and UK, with her latest album Spectrum landing at #1 on the Billboard Jazz Charts. Shoshana has sold out solo concerts around the globe, lent her voice to countless films and television shows, amassed millions of views on YouTube, toured with Postmodern Jukebox, performed alongside David Foster, Ariana Grande, and Brian McKnight, and sang backup for Michael Jackson for his 30th anniversary concert at Madison Square Garden.
Shoshana made her Broadway debut in the original cast of Hairspray and starred as the first replacement for Elphaba, the green-skinned witch, in Wicked. Most recently, she appeared as Fanny Brice in Funny Girl and as Cee-Cee Bloom in the new musical adaptation of Beaches, for which she earned a Jeff Award Nomination for best lead actress in a musical. The public can also register at MichenerArtMuseum.org to win free tickets through an online sweepstakes.
