COVID-19 RESPONSE

The Michener Art Museum prides itself on serving the community as a place for information, relaxation, and refuge and takes the health and well-being of its visitors, guests, volunteers, and staff, very seriously. Due to increasing concern regarding COVID-19, the Michener is temporarily closed to the public at this time. All classes, tours, lectures, and public programs have been suspended through Thursday, April 30. Individual pages will identify if a program or event is cancelled or postponed. You can view our program and event calendar here. This rapidly changing situation will be closely monitored, and we will continue to adhere to CDC recommendations and government mandates. Please check this page for regular updates.

We understand that these are challenging times for everyone. If you have purchased a ticket for a cancelled event or if you cannot attend a rescheduled event—and are able—we would greatly appreciate if you might consider donating the cost of the ticket price. If you prefer to be refunded, please look out for correspondence, which will direct you to the appropriate person with whom to make this request.
