Ava Blitz
August 9 - October 26, 2003

A resident of Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, Ava Blitz received her education in Canada and France as well as at the University of Georgia. She has exhibited her work at the Allentown Art Museum and the Georgia Museum of Art, and was awarded grants from the Leeway Foundation, the Ford Foundation, and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. Her organic sculptures explore her lifelong interest in "the mysterious similarity of structures, from the microscopic to the macroscopic, found in biology, botany, geology, and anthropology."
